Cat in the Hat!

How I love Dr. Seuss and his rhyme-y, nonsense-y, yet truthful sayings! So when a friend asked me to make a Cat in the Hat cake for one of Ally's good friends, I of course jumped at the chance.

The cake was vanilla cake iced in buttercream; then I used red fondant to make the red stripes on his hat...a fairly simple cake, yet it had a big impact. So fun!
